Hello,
Sub-menu items of my main-menu (which are linked to categories) was configured to display like this,http://www.screencast.com/t/QbOct8Pl8M,and the items followed the order I set using the “Taxonomy Terms Order” plugin. But after importing categories and merging similar categories, the display has changed to this, http://www.screencast.com/t/1dUUdHot.
How do I please configure it so it doesn’t display the posts when you hover on the main-menu but displays exactly like it was before…http://www.screencast.com/t/QbOct8Pl8M.
Thanks in advance.
Hello nkodgh,
This is talking about mega menu option. You should disable this feature from panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/YSIcqtJjQR For more information about this feature, please consult the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-mega-menu/
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Great. That is what I meant but I have few related issues to be resolved.
1. The vertical display of sub-menu items (which are sub-categories) follow the order I set using the “Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order” plugin when I hover over a main-menu item, but the horizontal display of sub-menus/sub-categories under the main-menu bar after clicking the main-menu item doesn’t obey the same order anymore. It was earlier following the same order as the vertical sub-menu vertical drop-down.
2. Secondly, I have three main-menu items (categories) which don’t have sub-categories nor sub-menu items but when any is clicked, list of unrelated categories show horizontally under the main-menu. How do I get rid of that?
Thank you once again for your great support.

hi nkodh – how did you get the “red line” above your main menu?
Hello,
1)Please provide more details about your problem because I do not exactly understand what you mean. If you are referring to the sibling category -> http://screencast.com/t/Fdiw5IKrt1, please notice that these are not affected by the plugin and these will randomly appear on the website.
2)You should change the category template if you do not want to display any other siblings who probably are not related to your category. Consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-category-templates/
@meinPekaWe, you should use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-header-border:before, .td-weather-week:before, .td-weather-information:before{
background-color: green!important;
}
The result is here -> http://screencast.com/t/eRlZ7nNda

Hello Catallin,
Yes I was referring to sibling categories display. In relation to my second issue. What I meant is that the last 3 main menu items (Events, Photos, and Videos) are stand-alone main categories thus I don’t expect any siblings to show when clicked. It is expected to only display the list of posts assigned to that category.
I have tried different category templates but they are display other unrelated categories when “Events”, “Photos”, or “Videos” is clicked. Articles, Events, News, Notices, Photos, Site, and Videos are all displayed as sibling categories. Even the “Site” category is not expected to be visible at the front end at all but it shows.
How do I get it to show only the sibling/sub-categories/related sub-categories rather than completely unrelated main categories.
Hello nkodgh,
For example, try to use the Category template style 4 and then you will see that the theme will only display you the related category and sub-categories, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/dYEcMR6zf0za
If is not what you mean, provide more details about your problem so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

My problem is with the display of other main categories at the place where you have highlighted sub-categories.
For example, if I have a main category called “News” having sub-categories as “Entertainment”, “Sports”, “World”. And another two main categories called “Articles” and “Photos” but both don’t have sub-categories.
News
– Entertainment
– Sports
– World
Articles
Photos
When I click on News, the sub-categories display horizontally below the main menu…as you illustrated in your recent response. But when I click on “Articles”, “News” and “Photos” appear below the main menu…as if “News” and “Photos” are sub-categories of “Articles”. The place is expected to be blank since there are no sub-categories for “Articles”. I hope you understand now.
I have been having tough time with it thus I am trying out the usage of pages instead of category display.
