Suddenly Cannot add any elements

For some reason I cannot add any elements to the page, any page….a new page or one that has already been created.

On pages that are already created I can move those elements around (the active green bar displays) but I cannot add a row or any element to that page either (no green active bar displays). Why?

Hi,

Please let me know what version of the theme you have, if you recently added or updated a plugin, and when the problem appeared.

Thank you!

12.6.3
Theme was working fine, and I started to look through the cloud templates and looking at the live previews. When I returned to work on the page, I suddenly was not able to add any elements to the page.
On pages that have already been created. I am able to duplicate elements and move them around, but I’m not able to add any elements to those pages either.
Prior to this happening, I did not update any plug-ins or activate any plug-ins, I was simply looking through the cloud templates and looking at the live previews.
I emailed screenshots of what is happening. Please let me know if you need anything else.
Thank you

Hi,

Do you use the Safari browser?

Thank you!

I suddenly do have the same problem!! Not only did I need to solve all the new problems (again) coming up after updating Newspaper to 12.6.4 (every update kills something on all my Newspaper sites – 20 sites at this point, can you imagine the time involved fixing), but also now there is no more adding elements on Safari (Chrome and Firefox work). @tagDIV: Either the theme is hacked or your updates leave the sites broken. WE PLEASE NEED A SAFARI FIX asap!

I switched to Chrome and it worked. Strange because my laptop is brand new, I was surprised when Safari stopped working with Newspaper.
It also happened on Chrome a couple of times already, but I noticed if I went to a page that was already created, move the elements around, and then put them back where they belong that suddenly allowed me to add new elements to a page.
I haven’t tried this with Safari yet.
I want to give a shout out to Tag Div for their excellent customer service!

Hi,

Indeed, there is an issue with the latest version of the Safari browser, but if you use another browser, it should work without any issues.
Also, in the next update, the issue will be fixed.

Thank you!
