Would be nice to have an option in the Theme Panel to simplify the Post Settings Metabox, enought for example IF AUTHOR just see the short version http://prntscr.com/iuy4j7 and then ADMIN the FULL.
At least leaving the main options wich I found useful.

Hi,
There is no such theme option, all post settings will be shown to authors and roles above authors. I could not say at the moment if there will be changes to this functionality in the future, there might be at some point if needed.
