Does anyone know the best method for adding an SVG Logo to the newspaper theme?
Do I need to upload the SVG to the media library and treat it as a normal image?

In this case, you need to find the file for your header template and replace the code for the logo with your SVG code.
But, please note that any change you make in the files after update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again. Better save the code somewhere and then apply it again after update.

Or, I just use a cloud template. Which leads me to my next question…. I downloaded the Blank – Header template, but I can’t work with it… As soon as I imported it, I got the following error message: https://snipboard.io/RnJCNm.jpg

Normally when you import that blank header template, it shouldn’t give that error.
You should receive a message with a button ” Done “, which means you install it correctly.
Also, try to deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
