Switch template depending on taxonomy value

Hi,

I’ve created a custom post type called ‘People’ and a taxonomy called ‘Gender’ with the values ‘Men’ and ‘Women’. Additionally I’ve designed a CPT single template, which is used when ‘People’ posts are displayed.

Now, I’ve designed another CPT single template for ‘People’, which should only be displayed if taxonomy ‘Gender’ = ‘Women’. The first template should only be displayed if taxonomy ‘Gender’ = ‘Men’.

Is this possible and how can I realize it?
