Tabbed content – Hyperlink to a specific tab

Hi there,

I have a “tabbed content” element with 4 tabs as shown under area n°(1) in the following screenshot: https://www.ltl.lu/tabbedcontent.png.

In area n°(2), I would like to create hyperlinks that, if clicked, would load the corresponding tabs in the “tabbed content” element.

My question is if that is actually feasible and what would be the syntax of the “a href” tag need to be?

N.B. For me, it wouldn’t be a problem, if the hyperlinks were on a different page than the “tabbed content” element itself, in case that would be easier to implement.

Many thanks in advance

Hello!

In the Tabbed Content shortcode you should add the ID of the pages and not URLs.
Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-tabbed-content-shortcode/

Thank you!

Hi again,

sorry if my thread may not have been 100% clear, but my question was more about creating a link (or some other clickable element) somewhere on the page, that, if clicked, would load another tab in the “tabbed content” element.

Please take a look at the screenshot on https://www.ltl.lu/tabbedcontent.png. My question is really more about the links in area (2) than the configuration of the “tabbed content” element itself.

Many thanks in advance

Hello!

If you enable this option: “Remember active tab on page refresh” from the element tabbed content and apply a unique id, for example, test, then when you access the second tab, for example, you can see that unique id named test in the link. When you copy-paste that link in another tab of your browser, the shortcode tabbed content will remember the second tab, and it will directly be displayed open.

Thank you!
