Any suggestions on what to do to fix this please?

This error usually comes up when a tag is not closed. Please check your table code you insert into your post and make sure you insert it in text mode after closing tags. Double check the code because there is an error somewhere. Unfortunately tablepress is not tested with our theme and we cannot say for sure how it should work.

Thanks for the response Bogdan, I would appreciate a little more insight into what is causing this, I can see all the tags are closed, the code looks good.
In another note, it would be beneficial for us to figure this problem out because table press is a widely used plugin and it would benefit more of your users if the plugin works

Unfortunately the plugin is not tested and we have no idea of it’s functionality. Please try to add a table from html in text mode. There are many html table creators online that allow you to create your tables easier than coding them: http://www.tablesgenerator.com/html_tables
you can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer and tablepress to rule out plugin conflicts.
Or alternatively you can find another plugin that will not cause the layout to break.
