[tag div7] Block 7 (Popular posts) widget not working

Ever since I transferred my site to a new host a few months back, my popular posts widget has stopped working and just shows the same posts permanently instead of what ever has been the most popular over the last 7 days.

I’ve tried deleting the widget then re-adding it but it just displays the same posts again.

If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If you use a cache plugin this feature won’t work properly. Try to hit refresh on a post which currently appears on the widget and check if the count gets modified on the backend – http://screencast.com/t/4P0uSkm2WWBk – http://screencast.com/t/5ynUc9FT

Also make sure that the 7 Days post sorting option is enabled in Theme Panel – http://screencast.com/t/oa8WiMZMz

Thanks Emil,

I definitely have the 7 days post sorting option enabled.

I checked the backend and the count is not going up after page refresh.

I’m not running a cache plugin, but I have a feeling that this is a host issue so I am going to call them.
