Hi,

Few months ago i edit tag.php template to remove a “Tag” prefix from H1. Now i deleted this edited template from child theme, resave original theme files and there is still no “Tag” prefix. When i change for example sidebar location the “Tag” prefix is back. I think ? there is something like theme cache and this “no prefix” version is stored but it can’t be a files.

There is a “Lekarz” and should be “Tag: Lekarz”.

Hi,

The theme doesn’t have a cache for it’s files. Are you sure the theme file is not modified in any way in the main theme? There are cases in the file you mention, depending on sidebar position

If you only modified it in the child theme and now you removed the file from it, the “Tag” should appear as default.

Yes and doesn’t work 🙂 it is a really weird bug, look at this Simion:

My child theme folder, and original folder is without change!

I did some more checking, seems that in case there is no sidebar set, the “Tag” does not appear. That is the current theme code.

I checked some older theme versions as back as 7.8, i’s the same. I didn’t notice this before, don’t know if it’s intended for some reason. I will add this on our list of issues and it will be investigated.

If this is required for you (no sidebar and the word “Tag”) you could make again a modification in that file

Sorry for any inconvenience.
