Hi just purchased your theme and the first plugin I have tried with it seems to have a conflict with the Composer. Using the Fast News Demo as a starting point.
Please note the plugin is not “The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe” it is this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/modern-events-calendar-lite/
I created a new page called “Events” tried to use the “Column Text” element to enter the shortcode for the Monthly View of the calendar and the page saves fine but when I go to re-edit the page I get this error “Error at rows: 1(models) : 7(dom). The model does not match the content”.
Can you please advise any steps I could take to help troubleshoot this. I would really like to make this plugin work with your theme.
thanks
Brad.
Hi,
I installed the plugin you mention, to see what happens when using it’s shortcodes. I tried one of the shortcodes it provides here – http://prntscr.com/ocibun
In a column text element – http://prntscr.com/ocic6m
I saved the page and viewed it – http://prntscr.com/ocicmr
Then I edited it with the composer again – http://prntscr.com/ocicwk seems to work fine for me. Are you sure the problem is caused because of the shortcode?
Thanks
Hi thanks for looking into this.
I created a page Events2 and added the short code much as you have described above and it worked fine. I have deleted and the original “Events” page and removed it from the trash. I then edited the Events2 page to change the Title to “Events” and the slug to “events” and the errors return. I have reverted back to “Events2” for the page title and slug and I get this warning “The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!”
It seems I can’t have a page with the title/Slug Events/events…
I should note that I am trying to make this page part of the menu. I’m not sure if that adds a layer to this.
Brad.

I’am seeing this in my error log:
[10-Jul-2019 05:26:23 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$post_type in .../wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 397

From what I can see the plugin already uses an archive page called “Events” so creating a page with the same name may lead to problems – http://prntscr.com/od1pge
This is the page in my case – http://prntscr.com/od1mgu
Other than this the plugin seems to work fine, when I test it. Those notices shouldn’t cause problems, if there are errors there may be a problem.
Hi I’ve upgraded to NewsPaper 10.3 and I am seeing some issues with MEC Calendar again. I’ve deleted my “evens” page and I am using their archive page “events” and I am seeing these errors:
Notice: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$post_type in /home/ulusolut/island3/staging/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 408
Notice: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$post_type in /home/ulusolut/island3/staging/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 415

Notice: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$post_type in /home/ulusolut/island3/staging/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 415
Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
thanks
Brad.
