tagDiv composer won't work with Newsmag

I would really like to use the tagDiv composer but when I go to edit a page I get a red bloak at the top of the page which says:

Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!

I see this has been reported here:

Do you have a solution YET?

This website is my personal website and I am open to technical solutions no matter how complex 😀

I notice this issue was reported 2 months 2 weeks ago, so that means you have been working hard and you already have a solution ?????????

I believe using the TagDiv Composer “BETA” with Newsmag is still kind of a hit or miss option.

I’m using prior version of TD Composer with Newsmag 3.1 with zero problems.

I don’t think it’s been tested with the current version of Newsmag, but I could be totally wrong. Most folks still using Visual Composer included with theme and not the TD version.

Remember ionMag and Newsmag are two different things.

Current version of TD Composer included with latest IonMag theme works with Ionmag perfectly also.

(We use both NewsMag on our main sites, and IonMag on a persona/project site.)

I don’t work here -just food for thought until real support team back on hand.

It did work with newsmag 3.1 (just used it few minutes ago); but was then removed from Github. So, the “works with newsmag” version is no longer available for download on github it looks like, so … The version with ionmag is different, it seems and designed for ionmag, not other TD themes.

I think they are ‘testing’ the waters of eventually offering TD Composer as alternate to VC for Newspaper and then Newsmag, but that has been an “in the works” idea for two years now.

I would guess they should remove the “sticky” from the top of the main forum here, since it’s actually “not” on github for download at the moment, nor the past month.

Thanks for clarifying this for me, I really appreciate it, is there a chance you can let me have a copy of the working version you have, it would be interesting to try, by any chance dod you fork it before it disappeared from existence ?? LOL 😀

It’s not yet officially released to work with current version of TD Composer and Newsmag.

I think they will include that option with next release.

Prior version of TD Composer *does* work with Newsmag 3.1x as we use it on *all* our sites with zero issues.
