Hello team,
There is no other option available for the Images gallery in the Newspaper theme.
I tried adding tagDiv gallery using Classic block, and it worked, but it breaks everything that comes below the gallery, including Footer—removing generated CSS resolve this.
I would suggest bringing tagDiv gallery block for Gutenberg.
