Weird problem — We have a number of posts with photo galleries using the tagdiv slider. One of our contributors wanted to show his work (he recently won some awards), so shared the link. Found out that the slider had stopped working.
I looked at it, and here are the results:
- On Chrome, it loads the top and bottom black bars, and the forward and back arrows, but no pictures. If you click one of the arrows, it loads and loads and finally fails.
- On Safari, the gallery doesn’t load at all.
And here’s the really weird thing — in Chrome, if I open Inspect, it loads and works correctly.
In Safari, if I look in Inspect, it shows a ton of error messages.
I switched to a normal slider, and it works fine.
I deactivated all the plugins that affect the front end in any way, and none of those made a difference.
Here is a link to a page that isn’t working: https://forwardky.com/charges-dropped-a-photo-gallery/
No, it’s not related to the number of images. The sliders were working just fine until recently.
Here is one showing the same symptoms, with only 16 images:

And if the number of images is a problem, why do they work correctly if I open Inspect?
