I’ve just updated Newspaper to 7.1 and tagDiv Social Counter to 4.0, and social counter shows 0 fans.
Again: I had the same issue a couple of month ago, solved with Newspaper 6.6.5 and td social counter 3.2.
I’ve also deleted the old Facebook App and I’ve created a brand new one, no changes.
Can you please help me? Am I doing something wrong? Please notice that Now I’ve set display:none to td-social-info class.
You can see the problem on http://www.psicopoli.com/ (js composer block) and on all other site pages (widget).
On this site http://www.saporedivaltellina.it (newspaper 6.7.2 and tagDiv Social Counter 3.2) everything works, and I’m waiting before applying the updates.

The problem with the counter is the cache. it is affected by it and until all caches get cleared, the counter will not be able to pull the required information.

wonderful: I thought it was a caching problem, but I’ve also tried with chrome incognito mode and the value was always zero.

I have checked your website on my side in Incognito mode and the Social Counter are working as properly, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/szWkhD0ASR Please notice that the browser does not have any effect for your Social Counter because the result which is displayed by this feature comes from a cache server and the browser does not have any influence in this regard.
