Hi everyone.
I have a problem I can’t solve.
I’m using the Newspaper theme updated to the latest version.
I created a content type using the CPT UI plugin and associated it with taxonomies.
I called the content type “Contribution” and associated it with the “Issues” and “Sections” taxonomies.
To explain it better, the “Contribution” content type contains all the articles in a newspaper, the “Issue” taxonomy is the issue of the current magazine, and the “Section” taxonomy is associated with different sections of the magazine.
I hope I’ve been clear.
Having said that, my problem arises when I create a page dedicated to that specific magazine issue, where I have individual “Flex block 1” elements that I want to filter by both the “Issue” and “Section” taxonomy at the same time.
Let me explain better. I’d like to display all the “Contribution” content types, the “10 – Bad Thoughts” taxonomy, and the “Editorial” section taxonomy, in a specific “Flex Block 1.”
I hope I’ve been clear.
I can’t find any type of filter.
Could someone tell me how to do it, if it’s possible or if I need to find another solution?
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
To better explain, I’ve attached a screenshot showing the “Editorial” section, which also includes the number 14, which shouldn’t appear to get the desired result.

Hi,
What you can do is to use the filter tab – https://i.imgur.com/aAfcJnz.png – https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ if one article should be part from all taxonomies, then try this option – https://i.imgur.com/8u9KKoP.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi Calin, thanks for your reply.
But I don’t understand how the filtering works.
Let me explain:
I entered the ID of the “Issues” I’m interested in and the “Sections” in the filter tab, under “Multiple terms filter.”
But if I enter both, separated by a comma, it says it can’t find any associated POSTs, but that’s not the case…
Could you help me understand better?
Thanks.
I’m attaching a screenshot to help you understand better.
My “Issues,” which in Italian would be the “Numbers” section, is populated with “Cattivi pensieri,” and the “Sections,” which in Italian would be the “Section,” is populated with “Editoriale.”
As you can see, both are set to the content type.
I don’t understand how to filter.
I’d simply like all the content from the “Editorial” section of the “Cattivi pensieri” issue to appear in that single Flex Block.
In this photo, I’m showing you that the first article shouldn’t appear in that Flex Block because, as you can see, it has a different “Number” but the section is the same.
I need that Flex Block to only display all articles with the same “Number” and “Section” based on the ID I give them.
So, it should only show me the last two articles.

As you can see, if I enter both IDs, nothing is filtered.

Also, could you explain better the “Posts(cpts) must belong to all terms” function?
I hope I’ve been clear.
Thanks so much
Hi,
It’s possible that a dot was used instead of a comma, but I can’t say for sure because the image is a bit blurry. Normally, when you separate category or taxonomy IDs with a comma, it displays all articles that belong to at least one of those terms. If the checkbox below is checked, it will display only articles that belong to all of the specified categories or taxonomies.
