Hi,
How do I go about assigning a newspaper category theme to a taxonomy I have created. (The way we do for category)

Hello @erickimani!
Unfortunately, you can not assign a category template to a custom taxonomy. Any custom taxonomy will inherit the global default template that you set. Note that If you use a cloud template, then that will not apply to the custom taxonomy.
