TD Composer and Hyperlinks

We’ve built a number of our Pages using TD Composer, yet for reasons unknown, the hyperlinked words simply don’t open to the desired destination.”The image #1 could not be loaded” is the response we always get. Please see our Home Page and try the hyperlinked words as an example:

Hello,

this happens because you have the image set to use the lighbox. The lightbox requires the image to link to the image file directly. If yu change it, the lighbox cannot open the modal and provide the error. Please remove the modal image setting from the images you want to link to external sources

Thank you!

Hi Bogdan. Perhaps I misunderstand your reply, but we’ve check every image on the Page and none of them are set to modal.

Also, not sure if it’s related but no matter how many times we make and save our corrections to this page, we continue to discover thre right-slashes (///) immediately following anywhere that we’ve used an apostrophe (‘).

We’ve also checked the “global” settings and modal is switched off.

Hi,

Seems that clicking anywhere in the page content tries to open a modal, that should happen only when clicking on images set like this

In your case when clinking on text it tries to open a modal for some reason. Could be a plugin causing this, or something loaded in the page.
There are also some errors only in that page

In this one it does not happen for example

The other issue with the appearing slash characters “/” will be fixed as soon as possible. The quick fix is to make a small addition in a tagDiv composer plugin file here

Once the modification is made, modify the text elements where it happened and remove the unwanted slashes, they will not appear anymore after that. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you, Simion – very helpful. Appears as though the slash characters issue will be dealt with in your next Theme update as a fix.
