My home page is built with TD Composer, and occasionally I add a block to the sidebar or a newsletter form which I regularly change, it appears and saves, and can be seen on the home page.
But then some time later it’s not there anymore, and can then return randomly –
Any idea what can be causing it? I clear cache plugins and browser cache but this doesn’t fix – it then seems to appear and disappear randomly

In one case after changing the block in the sidebar to a different block – ( this isn’t the widgetized sidebar just dragging a block element to a space in the sidebar ) the new block showed, then on later page views the older block shows – yet in ‘edit with TagDiv Composer’ the new block is there.

If this is a standard sidebar in the appearance-widgets area, then most likely you use special language specific characters in the sidebar name. WordPress has a problem with this and it will strip the sidebar of content if special characters are added to the sidebar names. Please only use standard characters when naming your sidebars.
if this is not the case, then this will need to be investigated further.
You can start with the plugins as in most cases plugin conflicts can cause all kinds of issues.

Well it’s not ‘inside’ the widgetized sidebar it’s above it, in whitespace – should I out some kind of ‘row’ in there to contain it? Its just dragged to whitespace.

The element ‘All tour of Britain news here’ is the block above the widgetized sidebar – on the site this block randomly shows 1. this block 2. the former slider block I used 3. no block at all
Sidebar name is Newspaper default, no edits or special characters

In the case of the block added above the widget sidebar, it is not a sidebar name problem. There is most likely a different problem that removes the block. Please check if you have “unique articles” enabled. When this happens, it will remove any duplicate posts. Please check for this options: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/

I don’t think unique articles has worked for a while – whether enabled or not the ‘load more’ always loads duplicates on home page

This is the issue (picture), the block now showing is a former block from a few days ago not the block that was in the picture earlier, yet I haven’t changed anything

This is unusual, so you delete a block in the sidebar and set a new one, then sometimes the old block is still displayed? Once removed and saved/updated it would be somewhat impossible that the old one is still displayed.
Are you checking and seeing the problem in the same conditions? If you could provide a link to where this happens, we will take a look. Provide a link, mention what you are doing and what happens exactly.

That’s exactly it Simion – I cannot replicate it on demand but it happened this morning again – it’s the home page https://westbridgfordwire.com
Currently ( 8:45am UK) this is showing https://imgur.com/a/yuvOofv – but that isn’t the current block chosen in TD Composer, and earlier today a different block was showing, the last chosen block – I haven’t done anything except browse the site to see this
Note that if I edit page with TD Composer, the block is there – view the page then on a mobile device, and you will see the other block, the last chosen block showing, mobile isn’t the issue though – because that same block will show on the homepage again later at some random time
After advice from Bogdan I switched ‘duplicate articles’ to allowed, but this doesn’t fix it

Simion in fact it just happened ( 0847am ) see now the block is this: https://imgur.com/a/I8tmwZB – the latest chosen block and indeed this block also shows as the block in TD Composer ‘edit page’ screen – they both exist at different times and the same time both on page and in edit screen of TD Composer ( parallel universe? :-))

If the block is no longer in the page structure, why would it still appear there? Quite unusual.
A persistent cache would explain it, but you say it has been cleared fully. It should clear automatically when the page is modified or updated however.
Could be browser cache then, but that will not switch back and forth from the old block to the new one in the same browser.
I browsed the website for a while, returning to the homepage periodically. The old block is not to be seen so far.
