I’m running Newspaper 11.4.3 with td-composer on my website. When monitored with the Query Monitor plugin, I see that the td-composer plugin is making 79 duplicate queries, slowing down my website. It is so slow that without caching, the website is entirely unusable. Even the Facebook sharing debugger is timing out because of the slow response rate of the website. This causes problems when the post is shared on Facebook. The thumbnail doesn’t appear.
Let me know what I can do to reduce duplicate queries and speed this up.
Yeap, having same issue, admin side is so slow and site slowed too…
in the posts page, there are 97 duplicate queries made by td-composer. why is it making 97 queries to retrieve just one post?

Hi chico-2, if you update the theme to 11.5.1 the number of duplicate queries is the same?
Also, this https://imgur.com/a/40NCbse is related to the cloud templates, do you have many cloud templates? You should keep only those that you are using.

Hi, if I update the theme, will my existing theme configurations persist?
As for cloud templates, I’m using them in header, footer, homepage, 404, single, category, author, date, search and tag. If I remove any of them, the design consistency will be lost.

Normally a theme update should not affect the theme configurations, but just in case before any theme update be sure that you have a full backup for the website.
