Greetings, I have recently purchased the newspaper theme and I am having trouble implementing the sidebar on the right (as shown in the demo) to my site.I am refering to the one with the class of .td-live-theme-demos td-theme-settings-small.Can you provide some information to help me implement it in my site?
sidebar from demo

Thanks in advance,
Have a nice day

Hi,

I believe you are referring to the sidebar that presents the demos. That is not included in the theme as an option, it is custom created specifically for the demos presentation and that is all it was designed to do. It would have no usefulness to include it as an option.

Thanks

Oh I see..It’s a pity since it’s so beautiful. So there is no way to help me with the code (or a widget perhaps?) in order to add it to my site?

Hi,

No point in adding it, even if it was enabled in the theme code it would only try to display the theme demos images and links to the demo pages.
It wouldn’t have any practical usefulness or add any value to the functionality of the website. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks

Sorry to disturb you again but one of my colleagues in the past managed to create a sidebar like the one in the theme with some help from your support team.Is there really no way to provide us some information on how to implement this on our site but -of course- with different links and images?

I can tell you where the code for it is, removing the condition around the code will make it appear in the website, then you can make the modifications you want to it

Hi again and thanks for the info. One question. In order to change the images and links to match my needs to the website, do I have to change them from the array in td_config.php file or is there another way to do it instantly from the functions.php?

You could do it in the functions file, remove the unused code and add your own links and images. Leave the classes if you want the same design result

There is an issue. The classes have more than just style purposes in the functions file.A class determines the background image as well as the image after the hover.Should i go to the td_config file to make the declarations needed myself or is there another way of doing it?

That would be correct. When hovered there would be a preview of an image. Test with how you mention, I did not make any more tests with this sidebar or tried to adapt it for this kind of usage unfortunately.
