Theme name Newsmag
Theme version 3.3.1
Theme database version 3.3.1

Hi, I’m having trouble switching to PHP 8.0
The entire site is in error.
With version 7.4 activating debugging gives a series of errors related to this widget.
td_page_builder_widgets
Is there any solution?

i do not think the olllllld v3 is compatible with Php8. We had similar issues. You need to migrate to newsmag 5, which works with php 8.2 just fine.

Is there the possibility of automatic migration by purchasing the 5 license or does the whole theme have to be reconfigured?

mainly the home page layout needs redo, and may need to reset some sidebar widgets and reselect which menu goes where.

ok thanks so it must be installed in parallel and then you have to make the switch? The theme does not need to be rewritten

Hello professional.vaielettrico, what you should do is a staging when to manually update the theme, this is what you’ll need to do: replace the theme using a FTP/cPanel (replace not overwrite), after that go to Dashboard > Newsmag > plugins and install the tagDiv Composer plugin, after that check the website layout and functionalities (also if you have a child theme this should be disable and the child theme structure should be changed after the new one: – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-child-theme-support/
Thank you!
