I am having the most difficult time editing pages. None of the functions are available to change the theme, etc., There is a long list of text on the left-hand screen in blue. Publishing continues to fail and I keep getting a message “deprecated”. Can someone please tell me why the theme functionality for pages doesn’t work properly? I can provide a screenshot.

Please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps;
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem please provide some more details and some screenshots.
