I am trying to manipulate the category page.
Instead of having the (featured) posts to display at the top if the page I first would like to have some general (text) introduction to the topic. Below that should be the normal ‘category’ page with the settings as in the Theme Panel.
I know there is a description box in the menu where you can create the categories but that offers to little options. I want to have full options to create a nice introduction.
Or should I go and create a new page and create the top-section as I want and then add the category below that?
But in that case how do I make sure my category page and the page I created point to the same?
