Text Color of the Active Side Bar Menu Page

I have a sidebar widget which is a menu of pages. I have pages 1- 10 in that sidebar menu. When I select any of those pages, let’s say “page 4”, that page loads. However, in the sidebar the text of “page 4” (which is currently active) is in black text, like all the other pages in that side bar menu list. My question is, How can I get the text in the side bar that is for the current page being viewed, (in this case “page 4”), to be a different color than the inactive pages, indicating via the sidebar what the current active page in that list is. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

So you have that sidebar set for also the initial page where the menu widget is displayed, and also in the destination pages. Maybe that would be possible with some CSS. For example I have this menu widget in a page

The “test” is a post for example, when it is clicked it directs to the post page which also displays that menu in the sidebar. A code like this will color the “test” link

That would work also for categories in the menu or other elements.
There could be other solutions as well, this is the first thing I thought about.

Thanks
