Text Editor not working, Cloud Templates not saving, can't edit with TD Composer

Hi,

I was trying to enter a shortcode in to the Pro footer template using the column text element. When I go to edit the text, the text editor will not open. I simply get a blank dialog box with the circle spinning in the middle.

Then when I try to save, I get another spinning box and the page will not save.

Then when I try to edit the template with TD Composer, that option is not available. When I click edit I get the standard WP text editor and all of the TD Composer shortcodes…

How in the heck am I supposed to make new templates to get rid of the legacy code when the editor doesn’t work.

Yes, I have disabled ALL plugins except tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter.
That did nothing to help the problem.

I’ve also confirmed this with different browsers, Chrome and Safari.

And when I check the error logs I see this:

OK, I see that part of it Calin,
But what about the spinning editor? Even when I go to the page and edit the page, I cannot get the WP text editor to show up, I just get a spinning circle.

Any update on your fix? I have this frustrating issue on my site? I felt like I fixed it on another one of my sites I have three licenses of Newspaper theme.

Still waiting for a response. I’m being patient as the world deals with COVID-19. They will get back to me eventually…

Okay, I isolated it to Yoast SEO Premium. Disable saves fine, enable comes back. Now will look into why? It might explain why it seems random on my other two sites.

This is a dedicated server so have full control and maybe I have something wrong on the way backend. Not certain, my two other sites had issues, but that seems to be resolved, ironically those are just host servers. This one is dedicated full control on my end. If you have any idea where I could look to diagnose that would be great. It seems like it works sometimes and then sometimes not, but at least now I know to disable Yoast and it works. We are about to launch the site so little nervous for trying to make quick changes, this site already exists and we get over 100,000 pageviews a day so going to have high demand on it.

My problem was resolved with a re-clone of the site and re-install of 10.3.2. I’m still having some minor interface issues but they are of little concern and the site is now working properly. Calin logged into my site and confirmed the issue but in trying to fix it the whole site became unstable, so clearly it was a bad clone because on setup of the new clone, it worked just fine. Thanks Calin!

Now I can get back to getting rid of the legacy code and using the newer blocks that are not dependent on the Standard Pack.

And I’ve finally found the combination of elements that replace the old block 11, which is flex block 1, image alignment set to float left and then spacing to suit your needs.

Other than a world wide pandemic, things are moving right along…
