Hi,
Will it cause any conflicts or problems with the newspaper theme if I install the tinyMCE advanced editor from this url: https://wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/
Or does this already come with the theme but needs enabling? If so, please provide directions.

Hi,
Unfortunately we did not tested TinyMCE Advanced plugin so I cannot provide an accurate, you can test it and see if it works. The theme have the default TinyMCE options as you can see – http://screencast.com/t/LBm7zQlQ5jA4 and some theme options as Shortcodes and Formats.
