sitename/author/admin does not work.
sitename/author/author1 does not work.

It does not work with all the authors.

Hello giulian curl,
Please keep in mind that the Author page cannot be changed from the backend as editing a normal page. Please check your Theme panel->Template Settings and from there you can edit the Author Template, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/JallU7sqsOUp Another alternative for you would be to create your Author page with a normal page, using the Author Block and then you can edit it as a normal page, as well.
