the content has been displayed entirely instead of only few lines.
are there any settings to make it only show few lines?

The settings for excerpts are in theme panel > excepts: http://screencast.com/t/9xIIOFfNCa Please note that the limit set in theme panel will work only if you don’t have any content in excerpt field from post editor: http://screencast.com/t/vEUsO180 If you added your custom excerpts in that field they won’t be catted at the value set in theme panel.

1. I have checked the length of content under the block 2 (but what I mentioned was block 1, anyway all blocks have same issue), the original value was default value, 25. Now I gave 30 as you mentioned.

unfortunately there is no any changes, all blocks still display entire content of post.

I see your language does not use spaces when writing. The theme filters the excerpts by words or by letters. If you have ti set to words and do not use spaces in your content, then the theme will process the whole content as being one word. It uses spaces to count the words. In your case you will need to change the excerpt length and set it to letters: http://screencast.com/t/fSzovsgeC

yes, in Chinese we don’t use any space to separate two words, they all come together. with your approach it worked perfectly, thanks mate.
