The ‘-‘ sign is much larger on pages and posts than I see it in the Gutenberg editor (see screenshots) https://anonfiles.com/05E6p9c6z5/E672C64F_BC9E_4E59_B295_2BB370C0EBA1_jpeg

The ‘-‘ sign is much larger on pages and posts than I see it in the Gutenberg editor (see screenshot).

What is this about and can it be fixed? I have already chosen several fonts, but this difference remains visible.

Hello!

For me, it works the same with these settings: https://prnt.sc/ovllxNIxpKPe
Which settings have you applied to your content? Do you have some extra CSS code?

Thank you!

Hi,

This problem has been around since I started using Newspaper. At that time I also did not use the composer yet and I had the default settings as they always are.

I use the default template as a post template and the font settings are all set to default.

Hello!

There are 13 default styles: https://prnt.sc/f6-HhJo2p38p\
I cannot recreate the issue you have.
Please provide the link to your page and more information in order to help you.

Thank you!

Hi Bettina,

I literally use the ‘Default’ template. This one is first in the list.

On the site itself you can see that it is – longer than in the Gutenberg editor on the website. I’ll take screenshots again in hopes this is clearer.

Hopefully you understand now. It is rather difficult to convey this clearly, but as you can see there is a difference.

Again, the font for post content is all set to the default font. And I have already tried with other fonts but the difference remains visible.

I suspect this is because something is wrong with the theme. So probably a bug.

I’d like the dash to look the same as it did in the Gutenberg editor

Hello!

It could be possible to interfere with other settings as well.
I’ve tested the default template, and for me it works as in Gutenberg.
