Looked through the support forums for an answer to this. Why are there so many people asking for help with this and yet no admin/dev responds. It is now September 2019 and yet this problem persists. Please advise. Why offer the demo content if they dont work?
I have always been a fan of the newspaper theme, but this affects your quality rating with me and I am sure many others.
Can a dev please come on here and answer this question and what we are supposed to do with the demo content and errors?

“The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer” – that is just a notice, isn’t be the result of actual issues in most cases. If you can successfully edit the page or could template then there is no problem, usually after you save the page/template in tagDiv Composer this message is not longer display.
It could also mean that the page contains elements that are not part of the tagDiv composer, or the page was saved in backed and not in TagDiv Composer, or the page has been built with with a different method, this can create problems.
Please provide some more details about the problems that you have with the demo content, in this way we’ll be able to help you!

OK thanks Calin. Unfortunately, the document would not save so I had to switch to using VisualComposer again.

We usually recommend to use only one builder on the same page, in this way there should be no problem to edit the pages with the builder that was made.
