I customized this website with Newspaper 8 theme offline and uploaded with FTP.
last week I tried to do further customization and now getting this annoying error
The Current Content Page hasn’t been created by tag div composer!
I deactivated the Visual composer plugin, the issue still persisted.
I tried to build a new page with tag div composer but it wasn’t working but it didn’t give the error message.

That message should not prevent you from making modifications to the pages. In some cases it appears when backend changes are made to the page. But you should be able to edit the page and make the changes you want.
Also check the theme system status as well

Ask your hosting provider to increase the parameters mentioned in the guide, if needed. Then test to see if the composer works properly. Let us know the results.

I have done all that but to no avail. I spent almost 30 minutes with inmotion hosting support on Skype, sent them the system guide as email, the updated everything but no positive result.
The only option now my be to reinstall the theme or upgrade to Newspaper 8.5 theme which is a little bit frustrating because of my time schedule.

We can take a look as well, if you cannot use the composer properly. If the page was initially built with the tagDiv composer there should not be any problem.
You mention there are problems even on a new page as well. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information.
Note that we will most likely need to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, or you can try this before sending the email.

Thanks Simon for your assistance. After a lot of trials, I was able to solve”The Current Content Page hasn’t been created by tag div composer” problem. In my case, it seems to be coming from the SSL certificate that Inmotion support team installed. The problem started after I secured the wp-admin login.
Tag Div Composer started working when I set the website to https from the WordPress general settings.
However, I had already updated the Newspaper theme from version 8.1 to 8.6 and the issue was solved without changing to https.
I was pissed off by several things in the new theme version. Starting from the minor – the weather app now requires API key. That wasn’t even the main issue. The empty roll and column settings were not responding – which means I won’t design or redesign a page the way I want. This is the main issue. The slider grid was not working too. I tested all these on a new page too.

The weather changes were not a decision on our part, they have modified the implementation of the widget. We simply adapted to the said implementation (it could have also been removed entirely from the theme).
From what I can see in the screenshots, some of the composer sections are not displayed properly, for example the row layout options.
In some cases that has happened because of plugins. You could try as a quick test to deactivate them all, leave only theme plugins active. Check if this solves the issue.
The theme and theme plugins should work properly if the basic requirements are met. The newly released update now also supports PHP 7.2. Previously such PHP versions were causing issues if used with the theme.

I don’t understand what the problem you are referring to is about. We did not encounter any issues with the latest WordPress update (4.9.4) and the latest version of the theme.
There was also no negative user feedback in the matter. So if you could mention details about this problem we will try to help you. From your message concerning category update I don’t understand what the issue is.
