Recently, when I hover over any event in the calendar, the pop-up windows permanently stay on the screen, and start to overlap each other. An example image: https://i.imgur.com/lJStx6Q.jpg
I’ve discovered that the problem goes away when the “Disqus for WordPress” plugin is disabled. But more importantly, when the theme is changed from Newspaper 9.6 to something else, and the Disqus plugin is still enabled, the problem goes away as well.
When I inspect the source page, numerous problems come up for each event pop up, and it looks like this:
Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.

Seeing the “tagdiv” parts of the error message and the fact that it goes away when the theme is changed, this makes me think it’s related to something with Newspaper. I don’t know why it goes away when the Disqus plugin is disabled, however.
Hi,
Unfortunately we do not tasted this plugin with our theme and we can not provide support for untested plugins Support Policy
Please make a test, deactivate all non theme plugins, and let only theme plugins and this plugin ( The Events Calendar plugin ) and check to see if this problems/errors is still there.
Thank you for your understanding!
