The image size have any request by post template?

In Newspaper 4.0, it have post template, I like style 3 and 4, they are beautiful.
But is there any image size request?
It seems not all images can use in style 3 and 4

try adding big images so that wordpress can cut proper sizes out of that big image.

once the image is cut into different sizes different styles uses different sizes.
