The Rimont Excerpt is not Excerpt

Hi,

First, I love the new Rimont theme. It’s very well done. Kudos to the team.

Second, the general settings for the three stories across the top is not pulling the excerpt but the general story. Since the setting states “excerpt” then the expectations is for the setting to cut off the separate excerpt created in WP below the post.

Can this be fixed please?

Drats. This is NOT what I was trying to say. LOL. I can’t edit the OP.

The top three stories are pulling the excerpt BUT the setting for the element is not changing the excerpt length. Instead it shortens the stories of the posts without excerpts and leaves the excerpt length alone.

The excerpt is getting the content from the beginning of posts, but this is only if there is no text set in the excerpt zone -> https://i.imgur.com/BLvoT6p.jpg -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
