Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

What is causing the conflict is the remove category url plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-category-url/
I used it because I wanted to remove word ‘category’from my site URLs. When i used other methods to remove it i get errors. Please advice me better way.

1. Please note that it’s not the theme that ads “category” in the permalink. It depends on your wordpress permalink settings. The category base can be changed or removed if needed, the most popular method as far as I know is with the Yoast SEO plugin

You could try these if you want to change/remove the category base from the URL. Note that if you remove the /category/ from the URL, you will probably have to create redirects from the old URLs to the new ones – https://www.blogstand.com/change-category-base-prefix-wordpress/
