The teaser text of articles on the homepage is now the image caption instead of the text intro -> can this be changed?

Hi,
Can you please provide some more details and some screenshots? I’m not sure if you are referring to an image inside an article or the top a block (more exactly, an excerpt from a block).

Hi,
I think that you are referring to the excerpt. If so, then the excerpt filed in the article is empty, and it will take the first n words/letters from the article.
If you want to have a specific text displayed, then set it in the excerpt field.
