Theia Post Slider Conflict With Modal Lightbox

Thank you for taking the time to look into this. We are using the Theia Post Slider plugin (http://codecanyon.net/item/theia-post-slider-for-wordpress/2856832) and seem to have an issue when opening up an image in the Modal Lightbox on the 2nd, 3rd, etc. slide/page of the post? It seems as though it forgets that slide/page 2, 3, etc. is still part of the post.

You can see it in action on the dev site here: http://espnfront.staging.wpengine.com/2016/03/his-hers-at-sxsw-festival/ If you click on the images within slide/page 1, the modal lightbox works as it should. However, if you advance to page/slide 2 by clicking next, then click on the image you will see an error message stating “The Image #1 Could Not Be Loaded”. Now if you were to refresh slide/page 2, the image displays as it should?

Hoping you can assist me here. Spoke with the Theia Post Slider developer and they recommended I reach out to you. Here is the last message I received from them.

“Hi Chris,

Normally in this situation you can try checking the “Trigger” options from the Advanced panel, but I see you have already done this. Every lightbox plugin behaves differently, which is why we have these triggers in place. While most of the time they work, for some plugins they do not, as is in your case. What you can do in this situations is either:

1. Use another lightbox plugin as suggested in the documentation, which we have fully tested and integrated with Theia Post Slider.

or

2. Conatct the developer of the lightbox and ask him/her how you can use the lightbox for content that is loaded dynamically. In your case, the lightbox behaves properly when reloading the page from scratch, but then you load another slide dynamically via the prev/next buttons, and the lightbox malfunctions. Our plugins offers jQuery events you can use which are triggered on each new slide, but it’s up to the lightbox developer to tell us how to use them.

Cheers,
Liviu

The typical wordpress troubleshooting has been done with disabling plugins to ensure no conflicts, etc. Thanks again for looking into this for us and I look forward to your reply.

Hello,
Our lightbox was created to work with our theme only. It was not tested with any other plugins or sliders. The lightbox is a very sensible element and even if you set an external link to your images it will break. It needs to link to the specific image url to work, but for some reason this does not happen with your post slider. Unfortunately this plugin is not tested to work with our theme so we cannot guarantee it will work properly. If you cannot manage to get the lightbox to work with the post slider, you can try to use another lightbox plugin and disable the theme lightbox. (Not official but I did try https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-lightbox-2/ and it seems to work)
Hope this helps.
Thank you!
