theme activation

hello,

I bought the newspaper theme one month ago, I didn’t use it yet. Today I wanted to install the theme on OVH but when I want to install demos nothing’s happend, when I click on any of the demos nothing happens…

I have also an other problem when I try to activate my theme, they say : To many requests from your IP, please contact us at activate@tagdiv.com. And I didn’t activate it yet so how it’s possible ? …

I hope you can help me to fix this, it’s really urgent.

I tried also to disable all the plugins but even like that the activation theme doesn’t work and the demo installation tell me to install Visual Composer and when I activate Visual Composer, nothing happens again for the installation

I can’t do nothing with the theme, I can’t click everywhere, when I go in the theme pannel all the options are blocked I can’t click, when I wan’t to add a new theme with the newspaper activate theme it’s blocked I can’t click, nothing’s happen but when I try to add a theme with an othere theme activate it’s working.

lol I can’t even delete it, they say : Delete failed, the theme doesn’t exist.

and yet it still there

I tried to remove it from the ftp and re-install it again but still the same problem

I’ve also put the wp_memory_limit at 96M because it was at 40 M but the problem is still here, nothing changed :s

also I have the message that the speed booster is disable because he’s not compatible with akismet and revslider

I tried with the version 7.3 and the problem is still there, I don’t have this problem on local

is it because I didn’t activate the theme that’s not working ? because when I check what I have on the localhost it seems that I actiavted it on the localhost, is it for that that I can’t activate it online ? So how I put my localhost activation online ? sorry for all those messages but it looks like we can’t edit after a long time, and I’m actually trying desesperatly to find the solution to all those problems :(:(

Note that they answer tickets in order received; so posting updates actually pushes it back further in queue; oops, I did that too.

Basically, install theme and plugins via FTP if you have permissions issues on your hosting setup (where WP cannot remove/delete stuff in folders); this way you can *see* what is actually there, remove broken install, and do clean install of theme; this is very often the issue where something broke on server when WP was unzipping the zip file, and now can’t delete it due to being messed up. It happens 🙂

Try FTP upload/install — best way, every time!

I’ve already did all those manipulations, I tried all the installations way, but the problem is still there, I also took the website that I have on the localhost ( the database and the files ) and put them online, the configuration was there but the problem too, I couldn’t do anything, I couldn’t edit anything, it’s really weard, it’s the first time I have something like that with a theme, it looks like the theme’s blocked

For those who have this problem, it’s with the new wordpress update
