Theme Activation (Closed-Dev site and Production)

Hi,

I just ordered the Newspaper-theme, and wondered if i have to be worried about activate the theme at our closed (htpasswd protected) and production site at the same time? (Meremobil.dk).

Our dev-environment is closed and can’t be reached without both username and password. This setup allowing us to secure, that our readers won’t be upset about unexpected errors and so on when testing is ongoing.

Should i be aware of anything?

Hi,

There is nothing to worry about. You can activate the theme on the staging environment, and on the live website. The standard Envato license specifies you can use the theme on a single end product at a time. So you can activate the theme as long as it’s a testing site and not an end product
