Theme breaks down in one category

Hi there. Strangely I have one category where the theme breaks down. Basically it refuses to show all images. I have tried
-removing all custom css
-removing the background image
-disabling all (4) plugins

I do know that it is trying to load jquery Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)) that does not exist on the server but so far I have not been able to find the underling cause.

Any thoughts on how to deal with this? I did run a a find -name ‘jquery.min.js’ on the server and that file does not exist anywhere. So I guess basically it should not be called at all.

Yes I found the issue. I reported this but my followup post is missing!

Anyway sorry to bother you. The cause was me copy pasting from the Joomla site which added about 100 lines of script inside 4 articles. This in turn caused the Jquery to fail and also added 7 closing divs. I have cleaned up the 4 offending articles and now everything works fine again.
