Hello!
I just finished integrating the Newspaper theme on to my site http://www.canadahifi.com and noticed that it does not display correctly on older versions of Internet Explorer (for example version 6). The images are bunched up to the left, some images overlap each other, etc. I know this is a very old version, but it is very important for me that it works on this version. One of my bloggers works in a huge company of 40,000 employees, and they all still use IE6.
The Live Preview of the theme works just fine on IE 6 http://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/full_screen_preview/5489609, so I hope this my implementation will also work. Please help!
Thank you,
Suave
Theme is only compatible with these versions: IE8 and above; primarily because it has elements of Bootstrap “3” which basically says anything old isn’t worth supporting. I think tagDiv has some of the shim stuff for some backwards compatibility, but if you note the clearly identified compatibility info for theme on Themeforest:
Compatible Browsers IE8, IE9, IE10, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome
This means anything below IE8 may not work, as much of the CSS presumes IE8 or later. You may need to use a browser sense javascript to switch to different theme for older users.
Wish I had better answer. The latest default theme for WordPress won’t support IE6 either.
There are some IE6 compatible themes here: (NOT an affiliate link)

Unfortunately we do not offer support for IE6. If you cannot use the theme I can send you your money back. We support only the following browsers: http://screencast.com/t/t0sjSnzhR
Gentlemen,
Thank you for your responses. I apologize for the confusion, it turns out that my blogger actually uses Internet Explorer version 8, so the site should work.
Could you please offer us some advice as to what could be done to troubleshoot this issue?
Thank you,
Suave
