Theme on development

Hello, how does one overcome the issue of having the theme on development and live? I have a site www. and dev. where we do our development, but the theme is asking for activation key.

You can activate the theme with the same activation code on the dev site as well. Testing platforms do not count as end-products as mentioned in the license: https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular
