Unfortunately you cannot use a video as background, but you can use animated gif’s. You can use editing software to convert a piece of video to a looping gif and then set it as background.

In a future update it is possible but we cannot say for sure if it will get done in the next update because we have a big list of fixes, improvements and suggestions to implement. It’s hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed. Until we can do it, you can use this plugin: http://screencast.com/t/WAwCVlAnM5L. I ran a few tests with it and it seems to work fine. Just one thing. If you use it, make sure to set the background color from the theme panel to transparent or the video will not show up as it will be covered by the white background color: http://screencast.com/t/ojPahlaSw

I have read your thread because i have the same problem but now, i know for sure that is possible to add a video background. What i don’t know is how to add some options to the video background. For example: how to turn on the sound and make visible the youtube play bar. Can you help me please?

Unfortunately the theme does not provide any setting in this regard. The video background option is added by visual composer. The theme has o control over the option. If visual composer does not provide these controls, you will have to search or a plugin that can provide the features you require.
