Newspaper theme has been slowing my site resulting to 504 Nginx error. Switching to another theme the site (kenyannews.co.ke) loads faster with no error.
what might be the issue

Hi,
Unfortunately after the latest updates the speed of our theme is a little slow , but now we work to make some major changes on theme speed.
Also is possible that some plugins to make some conflict with the theme.
