Theme unactivated during last night

Hi,

I think that the theme updated it self last night by it self and now the hole website is broken. First the tagdiv plugin was not activated automatically (I activated them). Theme was inactivated (I reactivated it). All my custom CSS are gone. Footer text gone. Logos gone. Enable thumbs sizes gone. Favicon icon gone. Any ideas what might have happened and how to fix the issue?

Edit: All the settings that I have made are gone

Hi janne-l, the theme it can not be updated it self, only if you use some options from WordPress or host to check the updates and set theme on automatically. Also theme plugins are automatically install and update, but you still need to push a button for this, you can check more about this in our guide from here -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/

Hi Calin,

Thanks for the reply. I noticed that I indeed have the automated update activated from hosting provider settings. Still it’s quite odd that the auto update deleted all custom work/settings from Newspaper – Well, no harm done, because I was managed to redo the settings quite easily.
