Hi! Can you help me with instructions to safely update the theme in our site? Our current version doesn’t have the auto-update feature and we need to keep our custom css codes.

Hi,
All the settings and code set in theme panel will be save in database, therefore it will be not touch when you’ll make the theme update (the settings and code set for custom css will survive), if you have set some code in the theme core, the it will be overwrite and lost.
You can use our guide from here to update the theme -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ we recommend to use the B option, with manual update using FTP/cPanel
