It should be there now, it takes some time for Envato to update the status after each update. If you still have this issue please provide more details.

We’ve uploaded the theme again, it should be up in a few hours (depending on how fast it’s accepted by Envato). You should get the update message after that, let me know if it doesn’t appear.

Still haven’t received any update message, and nothing has changed in the Envato Toolkit area.

Get the latest theme version available on themeforest now. The theme has been update yesterday but as it was just a minor change we haven’t announced it as an update is usually notified. You can check the theme’s product page, you’ll notice there that the last update is today: http://screencast.com/t/m4fWhIsdF0jX – http://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

The main question I am asking, is when the update will be available through the wordpress admin area in “Envato Toolkit” area – doing an update this way is much easier for me, so I was wondering when and if it will be available there?

I’m not sure why you still have this issue. Please try to remove/reinstall Envato Toolkit – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ maybe will work after. Also we will take a look at this in future theme’s updates and see if there is an issue.
If doesn’t work please try to update via FTP, just follow the steps from our guide and make a backup of your current theme installation. After you update the theme you have also to update the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/

Okay, so I updated the theme via FTP method, do we need to do anything with the folder that says “patch_4.6.2_4.6.3”?

No, in the patch folder are files that have been changed from previous version of the theme. So if you use 4.6.2 version you can upload only patch files to update the theme.
