After updating to the new Newspaper theme, I have noticed that the customisations on my site have changed.
I am not ssure how this has happened as I create a child theme to run independently.
Where the block sizes etc changed?
Is there a way that I can restore to the older version of Newspaper that I had so I can restore my customisations?

Hi,
First, please understand that there is no update-proof way of customizing the theme files. If you have a child theme set-up and have customization in place there, then you will need to replace those files as well. If the file was changed in newspaper 7 and you are still feeding a file from newspaper 6 through the child theme, that could spell disaster on your site. Please make a back-up of your modifications, and update your child theme to the new files and then re-apply your customization. A child theme is not update proof.

Where can I collect the older version of the theme because I have lost too many customisations.
Will you be able to send me an older version – I’m assuming if I load this version to my site then customisations will restore to normal.

Do you have a backup with previous theme’s version? If so try to restore it then test the site again.
If you made customizations directly in main theme files they won’t be restored even if you install an older version. However if all customizations are in child theme and they conflicts with V 7.2 you can try an older version again. We can provide an older version via email so send us a message at contact@tagdiv.com and specify which version you need and we will send it as soon as possible.
