I have one more questions about the update. After I update, will I have to build the site again from scratch?

Hi

No you don’t have to re-build the site again as the update won’t affect its content. During the update old files of the theme are deleted and the new ones are uploaded instead.
However as a security measure we recommend to make a full backup to your current wp-install before making any changes: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

Thanks!
