[ThemeForest] Update available for 'Newspaper'

Hi,

I received a mail day before yesterday from Envato: [ThemeForest] Update available for ‘Newspaper’

I have read at least three tickets raised by the members here that after updating their Newspaper theme their sites have been badly messed up. So far these tickets have not been responded. So, I am very apprehensive whether to update the Newspaper theme or wait for few days untill those tickets are responded.

Hi Renu Bakshi,

You can try the update on localhost or sub-domain in a testing entertainment, or on live site (this is not so recommended if you are using many plugins and custom work), but in any case before you make an update you need to make a full backup to your website and database, in this way if something is goes wrong you can restore the backup.
